<h2>Artix: Stick it to the man</h2>
<h3>2025-06-29</h3>
<h4>Artix is the resistance: Xlibre</h4>
<p><img width="25%" src="/images/blog/resistance.jpg" alt="resistance.jpg"></p>
<p><a href="https://linux.slashdot.org/story/25/06/28/054245/x11-fork-xlibre-released-for-testing-on-systemd-free-artix-linux">Xlibre released for testing on Artix Linux</a></p>
<p>Artix is becoming what Arch should have been. While corporations have been instrumental in Linux's progression over the years,
allowing them to forge Linux into a new sort of Windows where applications are becoming totally phagocyted by a
few pieces of software (Wayland, Systemd,...) requires solid resistance.</p>
<p>Kudos to the people making this happen.</p>
