<h4>the Arch package doesn't compile, here's the solution</h4>
<p>The package chawan-git in the AUR doesn't compile as the included NIM version is too old</p>
<p>Here's how I installed it in <a href="https://artixlinux.org/">Artix Linux</a></p>
<p>Install the NIM compiler from <a href="https://nim-lang.org/install.html"> https://nim-lang.org/install.html</a></p>
<p>The default dependancies were already installed on my hard disk: (OpenSSL, libssh2, brotli)</p>
<code>cd ~/src
git clone https://git.sr.ht/~bptato/chawan && cd chawan
make
sudo make install
cha -V</code>
<p>And it's done. I use mostly use chawan as newsboat's browser, it's really good.</p>
